Bangkok is still the undisputed capital of gogo bar nightlife in 2025. Whether you’re climbing the stairs of Nana Plaza or getting blinded by the neon strip of Soi Cowboy, the scene hasn’t lost its electricity. In fact, after a few shaky years, the city’s gogos feel like they’ve come roaring back—busier, louder, and packed with girls ready to hustle drinks and barfines.

Inside Nana Plaza, the heavyweights keep pulling in crowds. Billboard is the showpiece—jacuzzi on stage, shower shows, girls splashing around topless while tourists cheer and snap photos. Prices are higher here (barfines around 1,500, girls asking 3,500–4,000), but you’re paying for the experience. Angelwitch is darker, with choreographed shows mixing gothic costumes, fire tricks, and sexy stage sets. It feels more like theater than strip club, and it’s still one of the most unique bars in Nana. The Rainbow group (Rainbow 4 and Rainbow 5 especially) are the girl factories—lineups of 30+ dancers at once, ranging from stunners to hustlers. If you want sheer choice, Rainbow is your playground.

Soi Cowboy has its own flavor. It’s smaller, easier to navigate, and the vibe is more carnival-like. Baccara remains the king of Cowboy with its two floors of glass-front dancers, always packed with Japanese and Western tourists. Upstairs is the real gem—cuter girls, less pressure, and a view over the stage. Tilac, a Cowboy classic, has been updated but still retains its fun, casual vibe. Then there’s Crazy House, not officially part of Cowboy but just around the corner, famous for putting girls topless from the first minute and offering raunchier shows than most Nana bars dare attempt.

Prices in Bangkok gogos are fairly consistent: 200–250 for lady drinks, 1,000–1,500 barfines, and girls asking anywhere from 2,500 for a quick short time to 5,000+ for overnights, depending on the venue and the girl. What sets Bangkok apart is the range: you can bounce between 15 different bars in a single night, each with its own vibe. Some guys prefer the wild stage shows, others prefer smaller bars where you can chat with dancers quietly before barfining.

The truth is, Bangkok’s gogo scene is more than just sex—it’s the energy, the spectacle, the music, the neon. Whether you’re looking to barfine or just enjoy a few drinks surrounded by gorgeous Thai dancers, Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy still deliver an experience no other city can match.

Visited Billboard last week and honestly, it’s still the best show bar in Bangkok. The jacuzzi and shower shows keep the crowd entertained, even if you’re not barfining. I barfined a slim 23-year-old for 3,500 short time plus 1,500 barfine. A bit pricey, but she gave amazing service and wasn’t rushed. Drinks were 220 each, so expect to spend if you stay a few hours.

I’m a big fan of Angelwitch. It’s darker, louder, and the stage shows are like something out of a rock concert mixed with burlesque. The girls are a little more edgy here, tattoos, attitude, and less of the sweet-and-cute vibe you get at Baccara. Paid 3,000 short time, and honestly it was worth it just for the bar experience before we left.

Baccara on Soi Cowboy is the tourist magnet for a reason. Two floors, always packed, dancers actually seem to enjoy themselves. I prefer upstairs because the girls are more chilled and you can actually talk. Barfine is 1,000, girl asked 2,500 short time. Cheap compared to Billboard, but the vibe is unbeatable. Neon lights everywhere—it feels like a movie set.

I’ve been to both Nana and Cowboy dozens of times, and I think Cowboy is better for first-timers. It’s one street, easy to navigate, and less overwhelming. Bars like Tilac and Shark are friendlier than the hard-sell Nana bars. But if you want big productions, Nana’s Billboard and Angelwitch are must-sees.

Don’t skip Crazy House if you like things a little wilder. Girls topless from the start, no gimmicks, just raw shows. It’s near Cowboy but separate, and it’s packed with both locals and expats. Barfine 1,000, girl asked 3,000. Best part is the upstairs seating—you get close-up views of the action, and it feels more hardcore than anything else in Bangkok.
