It’s happened to more guys than will ever admit it — and if you hang around Bangkok or Pattaya long enough, odds are it’ll happen to you too.

Maybe it was the voice. Maybe it was something in the hands or hips. Or maybe you didn’t realize until things got very personal.

So… have you ever been surprised by a ladyboy?

Did you laugh it off, walk away, go through with it, or end up enjoying it more than expected?

Once. Sukhumvit. She was flawless — small frame, soft voice, zero red flags. We chatted outside a bar for twenty minutes. She was witty, funny, even a little shy. I genuinely thought I was talking to a shy, petite Thai girl who just happened to be stunning.

We got back to my place and everything was great… until the pants came off. And there it was — surprise delivered.

I froze. Not angry, not freaked out, just genuinely stunned. She looked at me like, “So…?” and I had no idea what to say.

In the end, I just laughed. We didn’t do anything, but I gave her taxi money and said, “You should work in Hollywood.” She laughed too.

Lesson learned: never assume. But also — no shame. She was cooler about it than I was.
