Some say the rates are low, others say it’s everywhere. What's real? Anyone have clinic stories, scare moments, or test results to share?

It's a real risk, just not as high as people think. If you're using condoms, you’re mostly safe. But don’t assume just because she's hot and clean-looking that she’s safe. I knew one girl who had HIV and still worked — she said condoms made it okay. Scary stuff.

I had a scare a few years ago and learned Thailand actually has lower HIV rates than you'd expect, especially in pro circles. But that’s because they assume everyone is using condoms. Once you stop doing that, you’re rolling the dice.

It’s a real risk, especially if you’re raw-dogging freelancers or street girls. Most cases are low-risk if you use protection, but you’d be surprised how many guys roll the dice. Don’t let a pretty face fool you — HIV doesn’t care how cute she is. Wrap it every time.

It’s real. HIV rates are low overall but still present, especially in sex work zones. Most girls don’t show symptoms, and you won’t get a warning. Always wrap it up—trusting her smile won’t save your dick.

There's a lot of myth that Thai girls are safe just because they look clean or work at upscale places. But HIV doesn’t care about appearances. Use condoms, and get tested regularly if you’re playing in the scene.

The risk is real, but small. As long as you go to reputable massage parlors and keep things consensual. Happy ending massages are common in Thailand, especially in Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phuket. Most places offering this service are discreet, professional, and surprisingly clean. The risk isn’t the HJ — it’s if you go in expecting extras and try to push boundaries. Respect the girl, tip well, and everything goes smoothly. You’re more likely to catch a cold than an STD from a handjob — so enjoy, just don’t act like a creep.

The risk is real — but it's not nearly as widespread as people think. Thailand had a major HIV crisis in the ’90s, but since then, awareness, testing, and condom use (especially in brothels and go-go bars) have improved a lot. Most working girls in established venues get tested regularly, especially those in higher-end massage parlors or escort services. The real risk is with freelancers or girls who work off the grid — no testing, no rules, no protection. So yeah, HIV isn’t a myth, but it’s more about your choices than the country itself.
