Booking an outcall massage in Bangkok sounds simple:
Choose a girl, give the hotel address, and she comes to your room.
But if you have never done it before, there are a few things worth knowing because the experience is very different from walking into a massage parlor.
The first issue is getting her upstairs.
Some Bangkok hotels let registered guests bring visitors straight up. Others want every visitor to show ID at reception and may hold the ID until she leaves.
So when the masseuse arrives, she may message or call you from the lobby rather than appearing at your door.
If your hotel has strict visitor rules, find that out before booking. Having a woman waiting downstairs while you argue with reception is not a great start to the evening.
Next question: is the woman who arrives actually the woman you booked?
This is one reason I would never book an outcall massage from a random photo with no confirmation.
Before she leaves for your hotel, confirm the current photo or name of the masseuse being sent.

What does she bring?
For a normal oil or body-to-body massage, usually not very much: massage oil, towels or sheets, and whatever small supplies are needed for the session.
Your hotel room becomes the massage room.
Usually that means your bed.
This is where some of the advertising gets questionable.
If somebody sells you an outcall Nuru massage Bangkok package, ask what they actually mean by Nuru.
Real Nuru massage uses a large amount of slippery gel. You do not want that poured directly onto a hotel's expensive mattress and sheets.
A properly prepared outcall Nuru session should involve a waterproof sheet, Nuru mat or similar protection.
If she is arriving with nothing except a bottle of oil, you are probably getting an oil-based body-to-body massage, regardless of what the advertisement called it.
And Soapy massage is even harder to reproduce in a hotel room.
A proper Soapy setup normally depends on the facilities at the venue. Unless your hotel bathroom happens to provide the right setup, an outcall service advertised as “Soapy” is unlikely to be the same experience you would get at an actual Soapy massage parlor.
That does not make an outcall massage bad.
It just means you should book something that actually works in a hotel room.
Oil massage works.
Body-to-body works.
A happy ending massage can obviously work.
A properly equipped Nuru session can work.

Price should also be settled before she gets into the taxi.

The hotel room is a terrible place to discover that you and the booking service had completely different ideas about what you ordered.
Payment practices vary, but many outcall services take payment after the massage. Whatever the arrangement is, know it beforehand.
Personally, I think the biggest advantage of outcall massage in Bangkok is obvious: you don't go anywhere.
No Grab through traffic.
No walking around Sukhumvit looking for the place.
No trip back to the hotel afterward.
She comes to you.
But the tradeoff is that you lose the infrastructure of a real massage parlor: reception, dedicated massage rooms, Nuru mattresses, Jacuzzi or Soapy facilities, and usually a lineup you can see in person.
So if I were booking outcall, I would want four things confirmed before anyone leaves:
Who is coming?
What exactly is she bringing?
What exactly did I book?
What is the total price?
Get those four answers and the whole thing becomes much simpler.

The woman coming to the hotel knows she has been booked for an adult massage service, assuming that is what the agency or venue advertised.
But that still does not automatically mean sex.
A happy ending massage is one service. Body-to-body is another. Nuru is another. Sex is another question entirely.
If intercourse is what you are expecting, find out before she gets in a taxi.
The stupidest possible arrangement is for one person to think “outcall massage” means massage plus happy ending while the other thinks it automatically means sex.
This is where the wording in the advertisement matters.
If you book a normal hotel massage, you may literally get a woman coming to rub your back for an hour.
Bangkok has plenty of legitimate outcall massage services.
If you book an erotic outcall massage in Bangkok advertising body-to-body, Nuru or happy ending, then obviously the nature of the appointment is different.
But even then, do not mentally add services that were never offered.
“Happy ending” does not automatically translate into sex.
“Full service” can mean different things depending on who is using the term.
If sex is the deciding factor for you, ask what the booking actually includes instead of trying to decode euphemisms.
Sukhumvit makes this especially confusing because you have everything mixed together within a few streets.
Normal massage.
Erotic massage parlors.
Freelancers.
Escorts.
Outcall massage services.
Hotels full of tourists.
They are not all selling the same thing.
A woman sent by a Sukhumvit erotic massage venue may be coming specifically to provide the massage package advertised by that venue.
An escort booking is a different arrangement.
Guys sometimes book the first one and expect the second one.
That is where the misunderstanding starts.
If your real question is, “Is she coming to massage me or have sex with me?”, the answer depends on what you actually booked — not simply the fact that she is coming to your hotel.
The conversation before she leaves is more important than most guys realize.
You do not need to send twenty questions or write a contract.
Just establish the basics.
Which lady?
How long?
What type of massage?
Is happy ending included?
And if you specifically mean sex, ask whether that is part of the service rather than assuming it will somehow get negotiated after she arrives.
That last point matters.
Once she is standing in your hotel room, nobody wants an argument about what “full service” was supposed to mean.
I would rather have an awkward thirty-second LINE conversation than an awkward sixty-minute hotel visit.

Erotic booking means erotic intent.
Happy ending means happy ending.
Sex means sex.
Do not assume those three phrases are interchangeable.
Know which one you booked before she arrives, and both people know what evening they are walking into.
